Pia Zevallos

Pia has over fifteen years of experience in climate change and sustainability. Her expertise is focused on advising the public sector for the design of public policies as well as the private sector to manage sustainability as a driver of efficiency, license to operate, reputation and innovation.
Pia has developed strategic consultancies on issues related to sustainable development and climate change, offering strategic support in international negotiations and the formulation and management of socio-environmental projects. Regarding her participation in the public sector, it is worth mentioning her contribution as a member of the Peruvian delegation to the negotiations of the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement.
As Director of the Climate Change Management Support Project, she provided support to MINAM, SENAMHI and the regional governments of Arequipa, Ucayali and Madre de Dios in the implementation of Peru's commitments under the Paris Agreement.
