Ivan Rodriguez
Project Manager
Ivan has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidad Nacional Agraria la Molina (UNALM).
He has been responsible for the water resources area of the Játi project and worked as environmental supervisor of PPGIRS (Pilot Program for Comprehensive Solid Waste Management) at UNALM. He has participated in environmental projects in primary schools in the Comas district. In 2017, he won the Amaru 3.0 Innovative Project Contest organized by the Vice-rector’s Office for Research and the School of Sciences at UNALM.
Thanks to this, he was able to do a research on the use of human feces for bioenergy generation, whose results were presented at the 7th Latin American Energy Economics Meeting held in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina; he then published a scientific paper as the minutes of the conference in the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE).
Ivan was also the leader of the Water Resources area of the Játi project, a multidisciplinary team that represented Peru in the Solar Decathlon LAC 2019, a solar housing world competition. His professional interest is focused on the development of sustainable housing and mitigation strategies for climate change.
