Hilany Buchelli
Creation and Development Assistant Manager
Hilany is an environmental engineer from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM) and member of the Peruvian Engineers Association (CIP 177313) with over 5 years of experience in environmental projects related to climate change, and in the mining and energy sectors. She currently works as project manager at Libélula, implementing mitigation projects related to the measurement of carbon footprints, energy efficiency, and water footprint.
She worked as a specialist for the Ministry of Environment in “Proyecto de Apoyo a la Gestión de Cambio Climático” (Support Project for Climate Change Management), a project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), making strategic alliances with the academia to generate a conscious and critical mass for the implementation of NDCs, providing capacity building on climate change to officials, professors and researchers in the regions of Arequipa and Ucayali. Furthermore, she is a member of the Eco-efficiency Standardization Subcommittee of INACAL (National Institute of Quality).
