For Libélula, 2025 was a year of consolidation, reflection and new challenges assumed with conviction. A special year in which we celebrated 18 years old driving sustainability and climate action as a transformative force.

We are the consulting firm with the largest number of Carbon Footprints reported on the Carbon Footprint Peru platform and we are leaders in the Mining and Financial sectors.

We developed the Product Carbon Footprint for copper and tin for Minsur, aligned with international standards and the decarbonization objectives of the mining sector.

Climate disclosure in Peru

Via LACADI, we rank the financial climate disclosure in Peru and guided two companies on their roadmap. In addition, we published a case study on green products and we train boards of directors in climate governance, promoting transparency and sustainable finance.

Climate transparency as a basis for change

Technical experts on climate change from the countries of the Central American Integration System (SICA) met in El Salvador to strengthen capacities, exchange experiences and analyze synergies towards the preparation of the NDC 3.0 under the Enhanced Transparency Framework of the Paris Agreement.

The Training on the interconnection between NDC 3.0, BTRs and progressive enhancement under the ETF reunió a más de 15 países de la región para trazar una hoja de ruta común hacia una mayor transparencia y ambición climática.

Organizado por la Alianza para la Transparencia en el Acuerdo de París (PATPA), la Iniciativa para el Fortalecimiento de Capacidades para la Transparencia – Programa de Apoyo Global (CBIT-GSP) y el Ministerio del Ambiente del Perú, con el apoyo de Libélula.

En el el Taller sobre Asistencia Técnica a las Políticas, medidas, acciones y planes de mitigación (PAMs) y Hojas de Ruta de la Transparencia en Panamá, asistentes de 8 países de Centroamérica lograron priorizar hitos de acción y trazar una ruta clara hacia la mejora continua en la entrega de sus BTR 2.0.

The Academia de Adaptación de América Latina 2025 reunió a representantes de toda la región para mejorar los reportes de adaptación y pérdidas y daños, compartir lecciones del proceso de elaboración de los Informes Bienales de Transparencia, identificar oportunidades de financiamiento e intercambiar experiencias.

Organizado por la Secretaría de ONU Cambio Climático, Fundación Avina, CAF y UNEP, con el apoyo de la Plataforma LEDS LAC y Libélula.
