The report analyzes the Progress and Challenges in 30 Countries in Latin America and the Caribbean in the design, formulation, and implementation of the commitments made under the Paris Agreement (AoP), taking into account the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) as Key Instruments for Resilient, Low-Emission Development in Latin America and the Caribbean.

This report was prepared by the LEDS LAC Platform in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and the Community of Practice on Public-Private Partnerships for Climate Action in Latin America and the Caribbean (ArticuLAC), an initiative of the European Union’s Euroclima Program implemented through GIZ, the LEDS LAC Platform, and the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS) at INCAE Business School, with support from the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).
