The Ayninacuy project arose from the request made by the Cooperation for the Process of Sustainable Self-Development of Arequipa (COPASA) and the Regional Government of Arequipa (GORE Arequipa) to CAF to address the problems faced by the high Andean alpaca communities due to the impacts of climate change.
