Maite Cigarán
Communications Manager
Maite is a communicator from the University of Lima, with a master’s degree in Development and International Relations from Aalborg University, Denmark. She has more than 15 years of experience in the development and execution of communication projects and awareness campaigns on climate change.
She has been communications coordinator for projects such as Climate Change Planning (PlanCC), DecarBOOST-Catalyzing investments for the decarbonization of LAC, and for the Regional Platform for Resilient and Low Emissions Development Strategies (LEDS LAC). He has created ConexiónCOP, a virtual platform in Spanish aimed at journalists and opinion leaders in Latin America, which since 2014 has contributed to the generation of awareness and greater understanding about the importance of the challenges that climate change presents for Peru and the region.
Since 2012 she has been the Communications Manager of Libélula.
