The Climate Commitment Week, implemented by the Ministry of the Environment (MINAM), will take place from today until Friday, August 28, with the aim of promoting the development and strengthening of the internal climate agenda, and to advance in a participatory, planned and organized manner on the road to COP21 in Paris.

During this week, more than 20 activities will be carried out that will include spaces for debate, awareness, communication, discussion, exchange of experiences and construction of a common ideology on climate change issues at national and international level that seek a direct impact on the construction of the national agenda.

Many topics will be discussed, including: sustainable cities, gender and climate change, profitable business in forests, the Encyclical Laudato Si presented by the Pope, the role of non-state actors in the Lima-Paris Action Agenda, among others.
