Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Management is aimed at professionals and graduates who wish to achieve high performance in development management by incorporating climate strategies and practices, including our mitigation actions and adaptation measures to the impacts of climate change.
The purpose is to achieve greater resilience and prevention capacity to reduce vulnerability, both in natural ecosystems and in cities and rural areas. The scope includes regional government officials, decentralized public agencies, ministries, environmental and climate consultants, non-governmental organizations and in general all public and private institutions.
It addresses the complexity of climate events at global, regional and local levels of the Peruvian territory considering the differentiated effects. The profile of the graduate includes competence in understanding the physical basis of climate change, climate geopolitics, identification and implementation of Mitigation and Adaptation Programs within the framework of our National Strategy for Climate Change as well as our international commitments and the management of technical and communication instruments and documents.
