José Adolfo Quisocala Condori, a 13-year-old boy from Arequipa, received the 2018 Children's Climate Prize in Stockholm. José won thanks to a venture he founded when he was 7 years old: the Bartselana Student Bank. His business consists of children depositing solid waste in the bank that is sold to a paper mill and the money from the sale is then deposited in the child's account but can only be withdrawn when the child meets his or her savings goal.
