With this action it expresses its firm commitment to forge a country with a low-carbon and climate-resilient economy, and to contribute to global efforts not to exceed two degrees Celsius of global average temperature by the year 2100, in line with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/es\/objetivos-de-desarrollo-sostenible\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sustainable Development Goals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The approved guidelines strengthen the process of multi-sectoral and multi-level coordination between the public and private sectors and civil society. In this way, they facilitate the design, formulation and implementation of measures to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and adaptation. Likewise, the guidelines correspond to development policies, plans and actions related to climate change management and the fulfillment of internationally acquired commitments before the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). <a href=\"http:\/\/unfccc.int\/portal_espanol\/informacion_basica\/la_convencion\/items\/6196.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change<\/a> (UNFCCC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are 5 Guidelines for the Integrated Management of Climate Change, approved through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.minam.gob.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/RM-N%C2%B0-090-2016-MINAM.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ministerial Resolution N\u00b0 090-2016-MINAM<\/a>Strategic guideline of \u201cIntegrated Public Policies\u201d; Strategic guideline of \u201cMulti-sector and multi-level coordination\u201d; Strategic guideline of \u201cFinancing\u201c; Strategic guideline of \u201cDecisions articulated with international processes\u201d; and Strategic guideline of \u201cMonitoring and Reporting\u201d. Each guideline contains prioritized actions that will contribute to consolidate climate governance at the national and sub-national levels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The \u201cGesti\u00f3nClima Initiative\u201c, led by the Ministry of the Environment (Minam), has also been approved, which contributes to cross-cutting and integrated management of climate change for the sustainable development of the country. It should also be noted that the initiative is aligned with the fulfillment of international commitments and the approved guidelines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">ClimateManagement will be implemented gradually, within the framework of national policies, until it is fully institutionalized within the organization of the State and public management.
