The project operates at two scales: national and international.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the level of the target countries, the project promotes public-private dialogue as a strategy for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Encourage greater ambition from these countries in their climate change mitigation and adaptation goals.<\/li><li>Provide inputs for the design of effective financial instruments.<\/li><li>Support the development of sector investment portfolios to advance the implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>At the regional level, the project aims to contribute significantly to the development of the next generation of NDCs and as part of the ambition mechanism of the Paris Agreement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this, on an annual basis the project will implement:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Investment and Climate Community of Practice, involving key stakeholders in the region.<\/li><li>Annual report on climate finance in the region.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Latin American Private Investment Forum as part of nexos+1.<\/li><li>Guides for Action, an annual publication that presents best practices and lessons learned.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the long term, the project seeks to contribute to the creation of conditions conducive to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To ensure that financing flows are consistent with low-carbon development in the economies of Argentina, Brazil and Peru;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Promote an improved regulatory framework that integrates climate-friendly investments;&nbsp;<\/li><li>Encourage greater ambition in mitigation and adaptation targets, in order to achieve the long-term objectives established in the Paris Agreement.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Activities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The specialist accompanies the process of design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the collaborative spaces and knowledge products of the knowledge management component of the Decarboost project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The specialist will become part of the project's knowledge management (KM) team. For his\/her work, he\/she will have the logistical, communicational and organizational support of the nexos+1 platform. The knowledge management component is regional in scope, with emphasis on Argentina, Brazil and Peru.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table><thead><tr><th>Area<\/th><th><strong>Technical support activities<\/strong><\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Design and planning<\/strong><\/td><td>Gathers information for the preparation and consolidation of reports and technical reports, monitoring of the knowledge management work plan; progress reports; and meetings of the project's executive committee.<br>Logistical coordination and support in the follow-up of project coordination meetings.<br>Prepares and ensures the timely delivery of meeting minutes.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Implementation<\/strong><\/td><td>Logistical coordination of events promoted by the knowledge management component.<br>Follow-up and delivery of documents, forms and information in general required by project partners and allies.<br>Transcripts, memories and systematization of all project events and meetings.&nbsp;<br>Monitoring the participation and mapping of stakeholders in the project's activities and spaces.&nbsp;<br>Maintenance and permanent updating of the project's databases and document base.<br>Maintenance and permanent updating of the project's Knowledge Management Processes Manual, its instruments and formats.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Monitoring and evaluation<\/strong><\/td><td>Preparation of technical and administrative documents for project monitoring.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Follow-up on work plans and commitments with partners and allies.<br>Monitoring of events, news and publications relevant to the project, and sharing them with project partners and allies.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Communications<\/strong><\/td><td>Follow-up of the implementation of the project's communication strategy (project websites, intranet, newsletter, publications).<br>Coordinate the contribution of partners and allies to the project's communication products.&nbsp;<br>Elaboration of news about the operation of the project, to be disseminated in all the project's networks.<br>Coordinate the preparation and dissemination of communication and promotional material for the project among partners, allies and the general public.&nbsp;<br>Spanish-English-Spanish translation of materials generated by the project.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements and competencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table><thead><tr><th><strong>Profile<\/strong><\/th><th><strong>Description<\/strong><\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Languages required<\/strong><\/td><td>Advanced English and Spanish.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Education&nbsp;<\/strong><\/td><td>Bachelor's degree or equivalent.<br>International Relations;
