The circumstances of COVID-19 make the insertion of this business model even more necessary, since the private sector's view of sustainability is decisive for the country's economic reactivation.<\/p><h3>Why is it important?<\/h3><ol><li>Entrepreneurs and triple-impact ventures today do not have the <strong>legal recognition<\/strong> that protects them and allows them to freely pursue their purpose.<\/li><li>This new legal regime gives recognition to triple-impact companies by making it easier for the State or other market players to <strong>identify and enhance them<\/strong>The aim is to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda through them.<\/li><li>Companies and the strength they exert in the marketplace are key to evolving towards a more efficient and sustainable <strong>New Economy<\/strong> more inclusive and sustainable.<\/li><\/ol><h3>Who benefits?<\/h3><ul><li><strong>Entrepreneurs<\/strong> that are born and grow with the idea of a company with a purpose beyond the generation of economic value.<\/li><li><strong>Companies and SMEs<\/strong> who choose to follow their path in a more sustainable way, either for business or for conviction.<\/li><li><strong>Civil society organizations<\/strong> who are offered a legal alternative that allows them to integrate social and environmental as well as economic objectives into their organizational structure while preserving their foundational purpose.<\/li><li><strong>Investors<\/strong> who opt for a better destination for their investment, seeking to generate a positive impact and guarantees of greater sustainability.<\/li><li><strong>Consumers<\/strong> committed who want to be able to make a better choice.<\/li><li><strong>Employees<\/strong> more identified and better represented through the purpose of the company in which they choose to invest their efforts.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Current status<\/h3><ul><li>The BIC Law was <strong>enacted<\/strong> November 24, 2020.<p><a href=\"https:\/\/libelula.com.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/leybic-libelula.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"375\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4945 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/libelula.com.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/leybicweb-300x375.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/libelula.com.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/leybicweb-300x375.jpg 300w, https:\/\/libelula.com.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/leybicweb-700x875.jpg 700w, https:\/\/libelula.com.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/leybicweb-768x960.jpg 768w, https:\/\/libelula.com.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/leybicweb-150x188.jpg 150w, https:\/\/libelula.com.pe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/leybicweb.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p><\/li><li>On February 23, 2021, a Supreme Decree was published approving the <strong>Regulations of the Law of the Collective Benefit and Interest Society<\/strong> (BIC COMPANY).
