The Sustainable Energy for All Forum is a great opportunity to exchange new ideas, stimulate investment and drive action towards sustainable energy and achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7. More information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The objective of this course is to understand and apply, in an assertive way, the tools and resources of environmental education in the area in which it intervenes or works. It is aimed at those people interested in strengthening their skills or updating their knowledge in the field of environmental education and who wish to have a frame of reference to initiate environmental education processes in the area where they work. More information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n The implementation of initiatives to address climate change issues is often undermined by a lack of sound scientific information to support them. Between 2011 and 2015, the Climate and Development Knowledge Partnership (CDKN) funded 16 research projects on climate change and climate compatible development in Latin America, with the aim of providing inputs for decision making in priority countries and strengthening this field of research in the region. The projects involved 14 Latin American countries. The results of these projects are summarized in a compilation by the Regional Center for Climate Change and Decision Making.<\/p>\n This webinar will present the compilation of these 16 research studies developed in Latin America. The most important results will be shared and their relevance to strengthen the academic field of climate compatible development in the region will be discussed. This event is a source of ideas and a trigger of conversations for the economy in the region and the world.
