\nThe purpose of this project is to support the Government of Peru in the implementation of its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC). To this end, it works in coordination with MINAM, SENAMHI and the regional and local governments in Arequipa, Ucayali and Madre de Dios, generating conditions to meet national adaptation and mitigation goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To achieve this, its interventions seek to establish clear institutional agreements, improve capacities, adequate access to funds and information, and empower relevant stakeholders through participatory processes. The aim is to create the so-called \u201cenabling conditions\u201d that make climate action possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
