Heads of government pledged against global climate change during the UN climate summit in New York.
World leaders from 120 countries pledged yesterday in New York to redouble their efforts to address the threat of global warming in the context of the Climate Summit organized by the UN.
In one of the concrete announcements, 32 countries and a dozen global companies pledged to halve forest loss by 2020 and halt it entirely by 2030.
