Nowadays, there is a great challenge in the different business sectors, which is the reduction of the consumption of available resources to have a more respectful economy with our environment. Telecommunications businesses are no exception, although it is true that it is a great challenge for the sector, but progress is being made thanks to technology.
Some of the changes that are taking place are the change from copper to fiber optics and the digitalization of the network to reduce pollution. Also, the creation of the 5G technology which is faster and has better connectivity. Finally, many companies are starting to bet on renewable energies.
Telecommunications are already taking steps to make possible the ecological transition we need to save our planet.
