For Libélula, 2024 was a year of challenges and learning, but also a year of renewed commitment to continue promoting the climate action.
Together with partners and friends, we design projects in Peru and Latin America that drive the transition to low-carbon economies, connecting hundreds of organizations that share our vision of change. We launch initiatives that promote climate action from the local to the regional level, generating a tangible impact on businesses, communities and governments.

More than 62 thousand people measured their carbon footprint on our web platform and nearly 12,000 of them committed to reduce it.

We designed the pilot of AdaptAccióna tool that will help the private sector to identify and manage climate risks. It is a joint effort with the Peruvian Ministry of Environment and the Lima Cosude Regional Hub.
Through the Climate Finance AcceleratorWe have worked with 6 projects seeking to capture a total investment of US$25 million in the Land Use, Water, Waste and Industry sectors.
Through 3 Communities of Practice y 2 Working Groups LEDS LAC, more than 300 practitioners from 18 countries reinforced their knowledge on topics such as bioenergy, methane reduction, public-private articulation and transportation.
LEDS LAC provided 25 technical assistance in 11 countries, strengthening institutional capacities, designing pilot projects and improving regulatory frameworks and instruments to implement ambitious NDCs and LTS.
We were present at the COP16 in Cali (Colombia), the summit that brought together more than 190 countries to advance concrete actions to halt biodiversity loss.
Thanks to the project "Regional Center for Transparency in Climate Action in Central America and the Dominican Republic"73 professionals from 8 countries were trained to submit their Biennial Transparency Reports and 4 of them submitted their BTR on time.
Through project "Climate Transparency Training in Ecuador"32 experts raised their expertise in the Paris Agreement's Enhanced Transparency Framework.
The course "Climate Transparency and the Enhanced Transparency Framework 2024"trained 93 people from 20 countries to assess their progress, develop mitigation policies and promote climate objectives.
We cover the COP29 from Baku, Azerbaijan, the annual climate change summit that sought essential agreements to advance climate action.
We are working on a project of Circular Economy with Toyota del Perú in alliance with the PUCP, which consists of creating utilitarian parts from auto parts.
In its ninth edition, the meeting brought together more than 1,700 participants from 26 countries and explored the opportunities that a decarbonized economy presents for companies.
