The climate agenda in April was marked by two major protests against President Donald Trump's environmental policies. The first coincided with Earth Day (April 22), a date on which several scientists around the world made clear their dissatisfaction with the budget cuts to scientific research that the U.S. president has proposed; while on April 28 there was a global march against the increase in greenhouse gases and Trump's energy policies.
