Preparing for the Third Regional Workshop of the LEDS LAC Platform
This year, Santiago, Chile will host the Third Regional Workshop of the Platform: “LEDS in Latin America and the Caribbean: From Planning to Implementation», which will be held on October 8, 9 and 10 at ECLAC. This event is organized by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the Ministry of Environment of Chile, together with the LEDS LAC Platform Secretariat, led by INCAE and Libélula.
This event aims to provide a space for governments, international organizations and experts to share experiences and establish collaborative links to find innovative ways to advance low-emission, climate-resilient development.
Workshop objectives:
- Promote low-emission development with a focus on resilience through the exchange of approaches, experiences, knowledge and best practices among experts from the LAC region and the world, especially related to the topics prioritized by the platform.
- Socialize and strengthen initiatives related to low emission development (LEDS) through the exchange and learning among projects and professionals to promote networking spaces.
- Promote the platform's services, take advantage of the specialized service offerings of the global working groups and seek synergies with other initiatives.
