We are preparing for the Lima Climate Finance Week from August 26th to 28th
On Tuesday, August 26, the Lima Climate Finance Week (Climate Finance Week) begins, the event that will disseminate in the private sector the financial opportunities generated by public and corporate policies that will address climate change in the country.
This event will bring together representatives of investment banking and entrepreneurs linked to the mobilization of resources for sustainable and low-carbon initiatives and thus promote a space for discussion on a topic that is gaining more and more strength.
The former president of Mexico, Felipe Calderón, who currently chairs the Global Commission on the Economy and Climate, will be in attendance. He is known for his work in negotiating COP 16 in Cancun during his administration.
Robert Youngman, an analyst from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), will also be present to explain how pension funds in other parts of the world are investing in favor of the environment.
The event, which will take place from August 26 to 28, is expected to attract some 150 people.
