Libélula participated in the Meeting of Young Entrepreneurs Facing Climate Change 2014.

This Saturday, November 22, the Young Entrepreneurs Meeting on Climate Change 2014 was held for 100 young entrepreneurs between 18 and 35 years of age at ESAN University. This event was sponsored by ESAN University and the Mulli Group, in strategic alliance with COY 10 and the 7C Platform: Corporate Climate Commitment.
This seminar developed important topics such as the vision of companies towards 2050, explanation and mitigation of climate change, corporate social responsibility, seeking to bring young entrepreneurs interested in expanding their business opportunities through a responsible and sustainable company, which relates and seeks strategic alliances with other companies oriented in the same direction of sustainability of resources.
Javier Perla, Libélula's Sustainable Business Manager, participated with the presentation «Business opportunities for the private sector in the context of climate change», in which he explained the seriousness that climate change currently represents for our society, as well as the business opportunities that the private sector can take advantage of in this context.
During his speech, Javier explained to the attendees that climate change is a latent threat to companies, as it can affect almost every part of the value chain.
Participating companies will have the opportunity to achieve the incorporation of the company to the EJE Directory: which is a virtual space where the logos of young companies that are committed to sustainable business in Peru will be exposed, as well as their climate commitments. As well as attendance to seminars and talks on good business practices awareness in order to contribute to sustainable business development. A direct business roundtable with 100 entrepreneurs with the same interests regarding sustainable business development and a constant space for networking among young entrepreneurs.
