- 06/18/18 - Sustainable Gastronomy Day
The set of dishes and culinary uses typical of a given place is one more expression of the natural and cultural diversity of the planet. The celebration of this Day is intended to promote eating habits - which include the production, preparation and consumption of food - that are more respectful of the environment and local traditions.
- 6/26 - International Day for the Preservation of Tropical Forests
The preservation of forests generates many benefits for human beings, the most important of which is medical progress related to the improvement of technology and clinical treatment. In addition, the natural resources of forests are also important in the provision of food, as there are many plant species that can be staple crops due to their high protein content.
