The forum seeks to take stock of COP25.
The Climate Conference, held in Madrid, Spain, was aimed at advancing the pending tasks to expedite the operationalization of the Paris Agreement. However, after two weeks and extra days, the Chilean presidency only managed to present a declaration with minimal proposals to the delegates of the different countries, a text that was not very well received and approved by the parties, but reflects the difficulty within the United Nations to expedite climate action.
Delegates and leaders from different fronts participated from Peru, some of them will be present at the Forum to comment from their agendas: women, indigenous peoples, youth and social organizations, what were the important points of the COP25 and what are the challenges and obstacles to face the COP25. #EmergencyClimate.
