Since 2005, the IDEHPUCP has held the Human Rights Encounter every year with the objective of broadening the cultural and academic perspective in the defense and promotion of human rights. The Encounter is a university week where various faculties, departments and units of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, as well as organizations and social institutions with a public presence in national life, join forces to propose activities that raise awareness of these issues to the university community and the general public.
