Pía Zevallos

Creation and Development Manager

Bachelor in Environmental Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, Peru (2004); awarded a scholarship for the Programme “Leadership for Global Competiveness” from the University of Georgetown (2008); and M.A in Climate & Society from Columbia University (2013). She has worked in the public and private sectors, with 9 years of experience in strategic consulting in the areas of sustainable development and climate change, the environment, international negotiations and project management of social and environmental projects.

Currently, as Creation & Development Manager, she leads consulting projects of public and private sector clients, supporting the strengthening of environmental management in Peru and the transversalization of climate change as a development issue. During her work in the government, she was a member of the Peruvian delegations of the negotiations of the UNFCCC and the Kyoto Protocol, and currently is an advisor to the Peruvian Ministry of the Environment for COP20.
