Pia Zevallos

General Management

Pia has more than fifteen years of experience in climate change and sustainability. Her experience focuses on advising the public sector on public policy design, and the private sector on how to manage sustainability as a driver for efficiency, license to operate, reputation, and innovation.

Pia has developed strategic consulting services in sustainable development and climate change, offering strategic support in international negotiations and socio-environmental project planning and management. As for her participation in the public sector, it is worth noting her contribution as a member of the Peruvian delegation to the negotiations in the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), its Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement.

As director of Proyecto de Apoyo a la Gestión del Cambio Climático (Support Project for Climate Change Management), she provided support to MINAM (Ministry of Environment), SENAMHI (National Meteorological and Hydrological Service), and the regional governments of Arequipa, Ucayali and Madre de Dios to implement the commitments made by Peru under the Paris Agreement.
