Biologist, graduated from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, with a diploma in Environmental Quality and Audit Management from that same university.

Her professional career has been focused towards environmental management. During her first years, she was connected to issues associated to air quality management, being involved with the implementation of the virtual library on air quality at the Pan-American Center of Health Engineering and Environmental Science of the Pan-American Health Organization (CEPIS/OPS), in charge of the planning and monitoring of the activities for the Clean Air Regional Program (PRAL, as per its initials in Spanish), financed by COSUDE and executed by Swisscontact, supporting the formulation of the Harmfulness Index of Fuels and its subsequent update for the Environmental Department, among others. The last years, she has been focused on mitigation of the climate change matters, initially supported by the elaboration of a national greenhouse gases emission mitigation strategy proposal, as well as the elaboration of national opportunities in renewable energy and energetic efficiency diagnosis. Furthermore, she has participated in the elaboration of the publication on enabling frameworks and analyses of barriers for strategies on low carbon development and NAMAs with PNUMA-DTU.

Currently, she Works at the Creation and Development division at Libelula, Climate Change and Communications Management, carrying out the coordination, along with INCAE Business School from Costa Rica, of the Low Carbon Development Strategies for the Global Alliance Regional Platform (LEDS GP).
