An exhibition of the best environmental projects in Latin America will be held in Guayaquil, Ecuador, from September 23 to 25, in an event that will feature lectures by renowned experts.
The Green Latin America Awards are considered the “Oscars” of the environment. It is an annual celebration that recognizes the growth of environmental awareness in the region and also serves as a meeting point for the regional community committed to the same cause.
A technical commission made up of representatives of the United Nations, the Earth Foundation of Costa Rica, the Andean Development Confederation and the Inter-American Development Bank chose the Peruvian initiative “Ecopyme” as a finalist among the three best projects in the energy category presented this year.
