We share the most relevant events related to climate change and sustainability in the month of December. The last month of 2018 begins with the most important climate meeting of the year: COP24 in Katowice, Poland. In addition, the International Forum on Circular Economy will take place in Chile, while in Lima we will have the international festival of social innovation, fiiS, and finally we close the month with a fair that promotes a new alternative of products to have a Christmas with responsible consumption.

[03-14] COP24: Katowice, Poland
This year, the 24th United Nations Climate Change Conference will have the responsibility of creating a work program for countries to achieve the commitments made at the signing of the Paris Agreement. Issues related to the financing of climate projects and the ambition of the action plan not to exceed 1.5°C will be negotiated. More information here.

[11-12] Latin American Forum on Circular Economy
Santiago, Chile
For two days, experts from the region will meet at the Latin American Forum on Circular Economy to exchange knowledge and experience on the circular economy, showcasing success cases based on the objective of rethinking the current model of linear development for a new circular model for the region. There will be space for workshops, dialogues and networking with actors from civil society, government, business and academia.

A new edition of fiiS arrives in Lima, seeking to inspire and connect all the people who every day are working to transform us towards a society based on respect and understanding. This year will feature the presentation of musical groups, workshops, a market of ideas, among other activities related to sharing and collaboration.
