Apple has succeeded, through its facilities, in becoming a completely green company. The company's worldwide facilities are powered 100% with clean energy. Not only has this form of power generation been implemented at headquarters, but also in the brand's retail stores, offices, data centers and facilities in a total of 43 countries.

Apple is currently building two data centers in Denmark with the intention of running them solely and exclusively on clean energy. The company has 25 operational renewable energy plants around the world, but this is not enough for them, so they hope to build 15 more plants. When completed, there will be a total of 11 countries with a capacity of 1.4 gigawatts of green power.

Corporations have emerged as major buyers of clean energy, led by large cost-conscious and climate change-conscious technology companies. Google, known as the leading corporate buyer, has claimed it has enough renewable energy to meet all of the company's needs. This is why Apple wants to follow suit.
